Transparency is the only way to do business.

  • Hourly Pricing

    Hourly

Great for a new relationship with individual designers or researchers. Each team member has an hourly rate that is a direct payout to them. We then ask for a 30% Collective fee to cover all shared subscriptions and training programs in the Collective. We track using Toggl and only bill for used hours. We always set a cap on the number of hours each week and communicate with our client before we hit this amount.

    Example:
    Designer rate ($60) + 30% Collective shared cost ($18) = $78 per hour

  • Project-based pricing

    Project-based

Clients with pre-determined project requirements would benefit from this option. All in with no extra cost. Require a 25% upfront deposit with a flexible payment plan based on deliverable milestones.

    Example:
An application onboarding optimization project scope of $3000 includes research, design, and testing before asset delivery to the client for development.

  • Retainer pricing

    Retainer

Long term clients may benefit from a retainer approach with a dedicated team of up to a certain number of hours commitment each week at a reduced cost.

    Example:
A $5,000 per week retainer scope guarantee the same designer, researcher, and project manager on the project.

User testing

Below are examples of pre-made project-based packages with activities and deliverables. Upfront with no hidden cost.

Research & Testing

Why? Startups waste a lot of time and money on early product development by making products no one wants or can use. Up-front research allows us to understand user needs, business goals, and market blank space to create clear and tight product/platform requirements that are evidence-based. User testing on an existing product/platform allows for quick learnings from actual users to make sure what we are creating is solving an actual user’s needs and is usable. It also allows for tight design and development requirements which save time and money down the line.

Design & Prototype

Why? The Design allows for the exploration of potential solutions based on identified problems and market’s blank space during the Research & Testing phases. A Prototype allows for the expansion of the product/platform interactivities and moments of delights. Both create assets for further user testing and ensure tight development requirements which save time and money down the line.

For Accelerators

The needs of startups change all the time, and great accelerators are there to support them.

Early-stage startups waste a lot of time and money on product development. We eliminate this waste by helping founders map out hypotheses for early market and customer testing before spending more money on building their MVP.

We offer a free, small group, 2-hour workshop run by a 15-year startup product expert to define and capture customer profiles, customer journeys, customer problems, and potential solutions for further exploration. During this workshop, our product expert will guide the founders through the vetted framework and be available as the customer advocate.
